We are an English riding stable, with an emphasis on the Hunter/Jumper discipline. Children and adults are welcome, and we offer lessons suitable for all abilities. From a beginner learning the basics to the advanced rider, equestrians will feel at home at Switch Willo.

The Horsemanship classintroduces beginner riders at Switch Willo to such things as horse safety and many other aspects of the hunter/jumper discipline.

Our program is designed to give our students a strong riding foundation so that they may move on to greater equestrian callings, knowing that they have received a solid education. We offer small group, semi-private, and private lessons by the month, with a two month minimum commitment.

Important:

All contracts are subject to review and must receive final approval from the Lesson Director, Holly Mortimer, before confirmation is granted.

We provide a lesson horse appropriate for your level of experience, necessary tack, and a highly qualified and dedicated instructor.

You may take more than one lesson per week by purchasing a second monthly tuition package. Want to ride the same horse each week? Ask us about reserving a lesson horse!

Students may use our lesson horses to attend local horse shows. This is an excellent way to improve your riding skills, and students are encouraged to participate! Horses are available for all riding levels, and we will transport the horse and lend you the necessary horse equipment. 

Lessons are available and payable monthly. Sign-ups for new students are on a first-come first-served basis. Spots are reserved with a completed contract and payment. Find pricing and more information in the Lesson Contract.

We love having our riders and their families involved in all the excitement at Switch Willo! Come watch your equestrian progress during lessons, cheer alongside the team at local horse shows, and share in the fun at our family events throughout the year.

Our calendar is full of festive activities, including an Easter party and egg hunt, a Halloween celebration with a marshmallow roast, and a Christmas gathering with a holiday scavenger hunt.
