Riley Wooding
SWITCH WILLO CAMP DIRECTOR
Riley brings a lifelong love of horse camp, along with a deep passion for mentorship to her role here at Camp Switch Willo. A lifelong rider herself, she grew up attending both day camps and sleepaway camps before later working as a wrangler and helping with the care and management of horse herds. Her background combines hands on equestrian experience with years of experience in programming, leadership, and team building.
As the daughter of two teachers, Riley believes camp is about far more than summer fun. She sees it as an opportunity to build confidence, character, responsibility, and leadership. She is passionate about creating a joyful and encouraging environment where campers feel known, engaged, and excited to grow their excellence in horsemanship!
Riley has spent the past decade working in brand strategy and corporate marketing across agencies and national organizations, managing collaborative teams and large scale initiatives. Most recently, she owns her own brand strategy consulting business here in Austin. She now brings that same creativity and organizational leadership into designing meaningful and memorable camp experiences.
Riley, her husband, and their cat Max recently moved to Austin from California and have quickly fallen in love with the Switch Willo community.
